The BYU Library has released a new version of our primary search tool.

You can access this through the library's main website https://lib.byu.edu or by going directly to the search found at https://lib.byu.edu/search

This updated version puts the BYU Library in a position to continue to adapt and change to better meet patron needs.

ScholarSearch beta Testing

The BYU Library is entering a beta testing phase of an updated version of ScholarSearch. The beta version can be found at https://lib.byu.edu/search/
From this landing page a user can:

  • Login
  • Search
  • Look at the detailed record
  • Look at the metadata

From this landing page a user cannot:

  • Perform the pre-faceted searches found on various pages on the library website
  • Test the new search from the library website home page

The main focus of this beta test is to ensure that this new version of ScholarSearch does all the things the current version of ScholarSearch does. If you find something that does not work in the current version please use the Feedback link on the page to report the issue.
